Frank Sitwell CHRISP b. 1848, at sea on the "Nelson" son of James CHRISP and Eleanor HENDERSON married in 1869 to Elizabeth DENHAM, b. c.1849, Melbourne, Victoria, daughter of David DENHAM and Margaret SIBBALD.

The family from Northumberland, England were emigrating from the UK to Australia on the "Nelson" in 1848.

Frank CHRISP was a member of the Digby Ancient Order of Foresters from 1872-1874 when he was recorded as a Gentleman and Sheep Overseer of Digby. A daughter Margaret was born at Digby in 1874. Frank's wife Elizabeth died in Melbourne in 1903 and Frank also died in Melbourne in 1920.

Thomas CHRISP c.1839-1922 (sp. Julia McDONALD c.1832-1922), brother of Frank CHRISP was the manager of "Rifle Downs" station near Digby in 1876.
