Charles William WELLNER b. 1852 Adelaide, South Australia son of Johann Heinrich WELLNER and Auguste Christiane Carlina EICKHERT was married in 1876 at Hotspur, Victoria to Margaret NICHOLSON b. 1851 Inverness Shire, Scotland, daughter of Donald NICHOLSON and Mary LAMOND.

Margaret NICHOLSON who had been born on the Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1851, immigrated with her parents to Portland, S-W Victoria on the "Arabian" in 1854.

W. H & D. WELLNER was listed as an early landowner on the Hotspur Parish map.

C. WELLNER was listed as an early landowner on the Hotspur Parish map.

Margaret WELLNER died at Hotspur in 1936 and her husband Charles died in the Hamilton hospital in 1939 and both are buried in the Hotspur cemetery.
