John Thomas 'Jack' BIGGIN was born at Karnak in the West Wimmera in 1886, but attended school at Digby in south-west Victoria which explains why he has a tree in each of the Booroopki and Digby Avenues of Honour. He was listed as a "Carrier", aged 31 at the time of his death.
