Malcolm McLENNAN was b. 1835, Contin, Ross-shire, Scotland, son of Alexander McLENNAN and Catherine McLENNAN. He was brother of Murdoch McLENNAN 1827-1827, b. Contin, Ross-shire, Scotland who was also having children in the Sandford area of S-W Victoria in the 1860s & 1870s before also moving to the Dalby area of Queensland.
Margaret THOMSON was b. ~1840, Peebles, Scotland, daughter of James THOMSON and Agnes JACKSON.
Malcolm McLENNAN and Margaret THOMSON were married in 1869 in Casterton, S-W Victoria and had five children in the Casterton & Sandford area of S-W Victoria. Malcolm was living at at "Mount Struan" station, near Sandford, S-W Vic. and Margaret at Casterton, S-W Victoria when they married in 1869.
By 1878 the family had moved to the Dalby area of Queensland where three more children were born from 1878 to 1882. Malcolm McLENNAN, a selector of Cecil Plains died at Dalby in 1882. His widow Margaret died near Dalby in 1902.
